Putin is cutting Russia off from the world internet on Thursday, March 11. We currently have no idea if this will have any significant effect on Livejournal, which is hosted in Russia. I would like to be able to backup everything I have there, but it's not really possible to do that this quickly. I really hate the idea of losing everything I've posted on LJ since 2003, almost 20 years of personal writing, so I certainly hope Putin's actions will not cut me off from all of this. If I am given another chance to back everything up, I will copy it to Dreamwidth. I will also be working on a backup for the Spectral Eye.

If we do get cut off over at LJ, you can still find me at DW and at sailorhathor@gmail.com. Please let me know where you and your communities go if we are cut off at LJ.

I decided to go ahead and try the journal import in case it can finish before there's any possible kablooey. I am currently in queue to import my entries. All my pretty tags and profile have already been copied over here. Wow, do my links need updating.

I've been neglecting LJ for a few years now because of being busy with other things, and I've been trying to get back in the swing of posting more and reading my friends page - I still love interacting with my LJ friends. This is why I have only just heard of the death of my online friend, June (jj1564) earlier this month. There are a lot of people that I have only known online, but still felt or feel very close to, and very few that I have actually cried over losing. June is one of those people who has me bawling because I will truly miss her.

Who likes to color in adult coloring books? Who wants to help me color a poster of flowers I downloaded? It's in 9 pieces and I think it will be cool if I send a piece to various friends and then they send it back to me and I have this Frankenstein flowers poster to put together over and over. You can color the flowers however you want, the more creative, the better. You just have to agree to finish it and mail it back in a big manilla envelope to avoid creasing as much as possible. Who wants to color?
