A friend of mine pointed this site out to me last night:
http://www.ghostwatcher.com

We were both interested in seeing if we could spot any ghosts, like that was ever going to happen, hehheh. I was bored so I started reading through some of the past "ghost" reports and the FAQ of the person who made the site, and I'm now convinced that this site is not the least legit, that it's just some person doing an experiment in gullibility. Either that or the webmistress loves the idea of living in a haunted house and wants strangers to support her delusion by making reports on "ghosts" they see through her webcams.

I mean, I do believe in ghosts, but I think it's a good idea to maintain a healthy amount of skepticism about anything like that. Sites like this give real ghost hunting a bad name, IMO. It's got people making "ghost hunting reports" because they see a pattern in a plank of *wood* that looks like a face! Every piece of wood ever grown has "faces" in it! That's not ghost hunting! That's just making sense out of random patterns!

And then there are the ghost pictures that people send in. The deal is that people are supposed to save any captures they see from this chick's webcams in which they see ghosts, then send them to her. Gee, no chance for deception there! No chance they could save the pic, alter it in Photoshop, then send it in, nope. That would never happen!

Wow, look, I saw a ghost under the wooden platform in her apartment!

See how easy those are to fake? I should take one of those captures of the wooden planks and add a REAL face; wouldn't that be funny. :D Who dares me to send these in to her?
