Stupid day
Dec. 13th, 2003 11:05 pmToday was stupid. I couldn't get to sleep last night, but I was supposed to get up by noon to do this really fun Home Game chat, so I knew I'd be a zombie but at least I could go. I slept through my alarm. -_- I haaaate when I do that. Barely remember turning it off and crawling back in bed. Now I'm bummed, because it was going to be a doozy of a bad movie. Oh well.
I'm going to go take a bath and then get a real start on my day (yes, at 11 pm ::snrk::), get some writing and typing done, make sugar cookies, and work on icons/graphics. Hee, had a cute moment with my dad the other day when he goes, "Did you make the Christmas cookies yet?" and looked at me like a whimpering puppy. XD Daddy wikes cookies!
I have started a second journal for writing-related discussions and to have a place for my characters to go to talk when they get hyper and drive me crazy. Sometimes it can be hell having extra people living inside you; I hope this will help during those times. ;) If you'd like to read it and friend it (when I actually get something in it), it's here:

I predict the character who will be using it the most right now is Edge, because as I've mentioned before, he's been an insufferable little chatterbox all year. He's even sneaking into other stories (E from SM Dark) and more.
Edit: I forgot the other reason that Saturday was Stupid Day. The cable guy was supposed to come over and install my new cable box, because they are replacing all analog boxes with digital boxes. He was supposed to be here at 5:30 p.m., and he NEVER SHOWED UP. Asshole. I sat here and waited for an hour and a half before I gave up on him. I want my digital box. Then I can watch everything that I watch in the living room in here, like Degrassiiiiiii! The most annoying thing about it is this means there will be another day of sitting around waiting, when I know how to replace the damn box myself. Just GIVE IT to me.
