On the chance of a fluke, I sent an email to Nancy to ask her if she has a dvd player, with a subject kinda like, "REEEEAD NOW VERY IMPORTANT and ANSWER!!" XD She read it, and answered that she HAS ONE. O_O OhmyGod OhmyGod mustmaintainsanity mustnotgetexcited must not countchickensbefore they'vehatched!!!! I'm trying to get in touch with her again (return mail has not been read yet) to see if I can either go over there or borrow her dvd player to make copies of these "Miracles" vcd's onto vhs. Then it won't be so pressing for me to have a dvd player quite so quickly, which would be good all around. I'm going to go try to call her right now; wish me luck.

And wish me luck that the dvd player has the proper connectors for performing such an operation (though I can't see why not; it would really shock me if this thing didn't have them).
