While at Cici's tonight, someone walked in the door, and the employees always go, "Welcome to Cici's!" when that happens. So, the sun is shining in the window to the point that you can't see the person coming in very well until they get about halfway into the restaurant. A girl comes in, "Welcome to Cici's!" When she gets halway in, they see she's a fellow employee. So one guy goes, "Welcome to work!" XD XD That just cracked me up for some reason.
Okay Felicia, I have now watched Joan of Arcadia. Um, I'll have to give it a couple more episodes, because it didn't thrill me yet. I was kind of bored. ^_^;;; Didn't really understand why Joan needed to join the cheerleading team since it didn't seem to have anything to do with finding the mother of the abandoned baby; Joan had nothing to do with finding her. ???? Also, I am kinda tired of the typical "cheerleaders are vapid and stupid and we must make fun of them at every opportunity" mentality. Sure, I have the Evil Cheerleading Outfit, but that's just my extension of wishing I could do all those flips and cartwheels. I'll give the show a little more of a chance.
Did a little shopping at Half Price Books tonight. They didn't have ONE SINGLE CD that I wanted (:P), but I got a Bon Jovi CD anyway, I think it's the special Target one because it has the Target logo on the back. It has four new songs on it. :) Or five. Something. There was a lady there whom I now think might've been talking to me, but I couldn't tell at the time. We were both getting through this aisle, and she goes, "Jon Bon Jovi made that himself." I thought she was talking to her friend, but here's me, holding a Bon Jovi CD. Could've been me. But she didn't look at me like she expected me to reply, so. ::shrug:: I have no idea what she meant anyway. He made the CD himself? Like that Killer Dwarfs video where they literally make their own records in the basement??? XD
I also got some really cheap "Card Captor Sakura" videos from Pioneer. Coooool. Then I got one "Choose Your Own Adventure" book, as I collect those.
I like "Standing" so far. :)
I am reading the list of BJ albums in the CD. "One Wild Night"? "Undiscovered Soul"? "Stranger in this Town"?? I AM SO OUT OF TOUCH. And this is one of my favorite bands. X_x
Anyway, nice to get a few new things for so cheap.
What happened to "Mythbusters"? It hasn't come on Friday night for weeks. :( Are they taking a temporary break, or is the ep shown on Sunday afternoon the only one now? They better not be cancelling it.
