Ooooooooooooooog
May. 1st, 2004 12:43 amI'm watching one of the two episodes of "Electrawoman and Dynagirl" that has not been shown in many, many years on TV Land right now. Oh my LAWD this is one of the cheesiest things EVER FILMED. I am just dying laughing. This is like when they met the *banshee* in the hallway for no apparent reason. It's not just that this was done in the 70's, when special effects were still sort of bad; it's the costumes, the overacting, the placement of sci-fi elements in odd places where they don't make much sense (like the banshee in a previous episode). How did these two ever get anything done when they always had to press about a million buttons on their Electracomms to do one thing? The bad guys always had time to escape while they were doing that. Run in those boots, aim, press press press press, shoot, enemy is halfway across the room already, oops. Gawd, this Spider Lady costume is a scream. XD My sister and I used to play-act all the Krofft shows; she was Electrawoman and I was Dynagirl. She had to be Electrawoman because her name is almost the same as the actress who played her, and I had to be Dynagirl because I wore my hair in pigtails all the time. (Plus, Electrawoman is taller and older.) Ah, my misspent youth in front of the tv...
Kaye's coming over tomorrow (Saturday) whether the DVD arrives or not; if it doesn't, I'm renting it, because this is just silly. It will probably get here, though. So I don't know how much I'll be online the next few days. I imagine less.
