Change in plans

The doctor decided to delay my dad's surgery until later in the week because his kidneys aren't functioning as well as the doctor would like to do this kind of surgery. Dad is frustrated and bored in the hospital half the time; I feel for him. He wants to go home, but can't for quite a long time. At least once the surgery is done, he can go to a more interesting place (hopefully there will be more to do there!) eventually. But I really wish they had vcrs in this hospital so I could tape some of his favorite channels for him and bring him tapes. Dad's just really into tv. He doesn't really have much in the vein of other hobbies, besides reading.

Gotta get up early. :P I still can't wait to get these staples out.
