My coat, mine, mine!
Jan. 4th, 2005 01:27 amI finally found me a really nice coat that didn't cost over a hundred bucks. ^__^ My cousin Pam sent me a giftcard to Ross, so I went there today to see if I could find an affordable coat. There it was right there, almost the exact coat I wanted! I actually wanted a darker color, but this one is fine; it's sort of a light tan with that suede feel and warm sherpa lining. Because it's fake suede, it only cost about $30. Whatta steal! It doesn't have a hood though, so I'll have to get a warm hat. I also found a pair of shoes there too that are good enough for work (business casual) and are REALLY comfy. I love 'em. Now it needs to get cold again so I can wear my new coat!
Also, so I can wear my new shoes without getting them fucking soaked, STOP RAINING SO MUCH AND SO HARD!!! The last two days have been nothing but pouring rain. Where the hell do you get galoshes anyway?! I wanted to go to the grocery store tonight, but it just wouldn't stop pouring down buckets and buckets of rain. I was so sick of trudging through it and getting my feet/pants/purse/hair soaking wet and carrying the stupid umbrella that I said fuck the store for tonight. Now I have no chocolate nor other goodies I WOULD have bought. >:( Now I have to get up early and arrange to go to the store before work sometime in the next couple days. Stupid rain. :P I only like rain when I don't have to be out in it. Trying to shop in the rain is totally irritating. Didn't help that I was in a mood to listen to music on my discman and the batteries I bought at the dollar store have *already* run out, after only one day of use. That totally harshes my buzz, to be right in the middle of a song I'm digging and suddenly, the player cuts it off.
I watched the first episode of "Medium" tonight. It was alright. Didn't make me go, "WOW!" but it has potential. I'll keep watching.
For some reason, I remembered this really funny story tonight and I wanted to type it out before I forgot about this again. ( What horrible, non-PC brats we were! )
