Anyone who has Suncoast Video in their area, they have declared Chapter 11 and are selling off everything at a pretty nice discount. Get ya some fun pop culture crap.

I managed to get some downtime at work today and went home a few hours early, so I went to the mall. I visited Kirkland's because ever since I worked there, I am addicted to it. My apartment is crawling with early American Kirkland's. Could be worse, could've shopped at Fugland's. ;) Said hello to a few people who were still there from when I worked there. I couldn't find anything new that I liked until I looked up and saw these Japanese paper lantern lights. I love paper lanterns!! I got me a set. May go back and get another if they don't cover enough ground to my liking. They'll go well with the purpley light set I bought at Target a few weeks ago.

The main reason I went to Kirkland's in the first place was to get another beaded curtain. Another thing I really like, those plastic beaded curtains in various shapes and colors. I love the sound they make when they tink together, hee. But Kirkland's didn't have anymore. I remember that from when I worked there - we often got stuff in, sold it out, and never got in any more. One of the assistant managers, Patty, was always telling people, "See it, like it, buy it," because of that. :D So I headed on over to Spencer's because I knew THEY would have them. I got beads shaped like butterflies, then saw another one in the clearance section where the beads are shaped like black and gold suns. I thought that would look awesome in my kitchen. Bought it! ^_^

Last stop was Suncoast. Bon-bon [livejournal.com profile] bamboleo, they have tons of "Star Wars" stuff you'll like, all on saaa~aaaale... I got you something I will mail you soon, because it was funny and I know you will like it. ^_^ I wasn't willing to pay even the sale price on a few things I kinda liked (even on sale, Suncoast is a little pricey), but I did get this set of horror movie killers as leetle action figures. They're adorable! Got Leatherface, Freddy, and Jason Vorhees pre-hockey mask. They even come with a little backdroppy thing you can put behind each guy, like Jason has a table with his mother's head on it. XD XD Only $8. Schweeeet!

Here's something else that's schweet: the "Supernatural" DVD's that [livejournal.com profile] kaijawest sent me arrived today! WEEEEEEEE!! Now I can catch up on all my vaguely-known Winchester facts. Thank you Kaija! I have a ton of things to watch on my days off now. Eps of The Damn Fine Sexy Bad Boy Dean Show, and the stuff that came in from Netflix.

Oh, speaking of, my latest postal experiment worked! I'm so freakin' happy about it. Last summer, there was all that trouble I was having with my mail, where Netflix DVD's would just disappear instead of getting back to the warehouse. I put some of those DVD's in the maildrop at work. So I thought I couldn't trust that maildrop anymore. Since it's been, like, 6 months since all that crap, I decided to try that maildrop again, to see if the problems had ironed themselves out. The very next day, Netflix received that DVD. YAY! Now I can drop off DVD's at work. It's SO EASY, LIKE PARIS HILTON!

I. Want. Snacks. I have no snacks. I don't want to go out until tomorrow. So, no snacks or eat-out food for Laurel. :( I should have gotten something while I was out, but I already had too much to carry anyway. ::looks at everyone and sees Cheez-Its and chocolate bars:: Mmmmm, [livejournal.com profile] mooserat-Its...
