Writer's Block: Back in the day

I could recount a million stories of the past that make me laugh, so instead I'll tell one that makes me laugh AND blush when I think of it. Now, we used to do this with various friends, but I know I had to be seven at the youngest because one of those friends moved away when I was about that age and I can remember her being one of the girls who did this with us. My sister and I, and various neighborhood friends, wanted to have a club like they had on "Laverne and Shirley" (o/` Angora Debs, forever true, we stand together two-by-two... o/`), so we became The Hot Cats. How's that for a spectacular club name? Our main club activity was to stand out by the road and strike poses at passing cars. XD Ah, that simple time before "To Catch a Predator" when you could still be a goofy kid and not worry as much about some sicko snatching you off the street... I do remember once some guy coming by on a bike and being like, "WHAT are you kids doing?" and us replying, "We're The Hot Cats!" and striking a pose and him responding like, "Uhhhhh huh..." as if he thought we were nuts. XD I even tried to write us a club song, but I can't remember a word of it now.
