A few writing-related questions
Aug. 27th, 2014 08:48 pmI don't drink very much, so when it comes to getting a character drunk/tipsy, sometimes I get lost. I tend to just have one or two girl drinks (depending on how strong they are) and delight in being tipsy; I've never been drunk in my life. (I've done shots before too, but never very many.) So!
If you have a guy in his 30s, 6'2", average build (not flabby, not overtly muscular, not extra skinny, not fat, just right in the middle), and he's had one Jell-O shot with rum in it, how many bottle beers would he have to have to get delightfully tipsy? (That kind of tipsy where there's a nice shine on the world, everything's awesome, he may slur a word or two, and he remembers everything that happened the next day.) I don't need exact chemistry, just believability.
Is rum and lime Jell-O a good, relatively tasty combination, or would it be totally gross? Should I use a different flavor of Jell-O, or does lime work? Or does it really matter? :D

Melissa and I went out to lunch today. It was sooooooo great. So much writer talk. We discussed other stuff too, but there was so much about writing. I am floating on a writer's talk cloud. ^___^ And I had Chicken Alfredo, eeeyuuuuuuummmmmm... She once took a screen writing class from D.C. Fontana. That's awesome!
