It's sooooo cold. In the 20's tonight, which is freezing for Dallas. It fucking snowed today. We get snow maybe one day out of every five years, sometimes two. It was kinda neat to see it all over the cars, and only because the streets didn't ice over. It sucks when the streets ice over and you still have to go out.

Anyway, I said I was going to talk about the movies Kaye and I watched during her visit. She brought the Japanese version of Ju-on: The Grudge, which was fairly good. I think both the American version and Japanese version had good points and bad points; I liked the Japanese version better because it had some really cool parts in it that weren't included in the American version, and also some impressive acting from a couple of the actors. The whole section with the teenage daughter was my favorite part, though I can't recall her name. It was very cool, like a classic ghost story. I also liked the ending better.

I also got a copy of Tomie but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. The previews of it and its sequels made them all look really good, for some reason. I hope to find some time to watch it soon; I have to actually pay full attention to it since it's subtitled, heh.
