On the way home from work, I got off the train and noticed a crowd was forming. The whole thing was made more surreal by the fact that a huge group of teens was using the train to go to some sort of formal event; they were all dressed in tuxedos and prom dresses! :D I couldn't figure out what was going on for a few minutes, but the police were there, and they told everyone to get off the train. Eventually I got the story by being a rubbernecker, heehee. This guy got off the train with blood all over his arm and a big angry mark on the side of his head. Someone had punched him several times, then ran off the train. I have no idea what the story was (the motive). It kinda scared me, because I ride the train every freakin' day. I hope the motive wasn't robbery. That could so easily happen to me. >_< The guy who got beat up was in the car RIGHT BEHIND mine. I almost got in that car! I think the motive had something to do with an argument, though, because someone said that racial slurs were used during the assault. Supposedly, the seat the man was sitting in was smeared with a lot of blood, so they wouldn't let anyone get back in that car. I felt sorry for him, because he kept saying to the police, "I just want to go home." :(
Then I get home, and an ambulance pulls into the parking lot of my building! (For what, I don't know.) What a Saturday night!
