Still sick

Woo, is this ever a whopper of a sinus infection. It's been going strong 4 days now, and is in my throat too, which has caused me to pretty much lose my voice. Sometimes I start to feel better, then I plummet back into Balloon Head Land. I've been taking medicine around the clock, but I guess I'm going to have to make sure I take it while I'm sleeping too, so that the sickness does not have time to regroup. I've just got to remember one of the many times the sinus medication makes me get up and pee, I should take more medicine. I am totally sick of cough drops. But, they help, so I can't stop taking them. Currently, I'm on cough medicine with expectorant and nasal decongestant, and Tylenol to keep the fever down. It seems to be working, but my head just doesn't seem to have any end to the snot it can produce. God I hope I'm not going to have to see a doctor about this one. I have no money, and I know my dad will bitch if he has to pay for a doctor visit. This sucks.

Yeah, I know the war is going on. I support what we're doing over there, so it's just kind of like, oh, okay, it's happening now. I understand why there's lots of news coverage, but I think they could tell us all this stuff on the regular news and inbetween shows. I don't see why some channels (besides the cable news channels, duh) have this 24-hour coverage, repeating the same things over and over. It's like awwwww, I don't like the Baghdad channel... awww, this channel is the Baghdad channel tooooo... the war can still be just as important and just as covered without putting it on tv for hours on end. I just don't see how it lessens the importance of the war to allow people to see their favorite shows. Everyone needs a break from reality from time to time.

These newscasters who go over to the warzone and sit right in the middle of it, making news reports, are nuts. There's a guy on FOX who keeps putting on his gas mask every time he hears explosions and air raid sirens. Hell, get out of there, Bucky! You're lucky you don't get blown up!
