Oh dopey me!

sailorhathorWoops. Nevermind, false alarm. The ep of Craig Ferguson that featured Skeet's recent interview was only repeated in some city in Kansas last night. I freaked and thought it was repeating all over the country. Oh well. At least I didn't miss it again.
My paycheck today RAWKED. I made the Performance Incentive for the first time since I've been working there! PI is when you meet certain criteria for an entire week, like a certain Productivity Score, a certain Talk Time score, a certain Conversion Rate (how many tickets you sell), and the standards are REALLY hard to meet. If you do meet them, you get extra pay for that week. I didn't even know I met the standards. XD I got an extra $54 on my check for that. That is SO awesome for me. Go Laurel, go Laurel, go, go, go Laurel!
Speaking of my name, I looked at the "Miracles" page on IMDB for another reason and I saw this:

Who the hell is this character?! If there had been a Laurel on that show, you can bet I would have noticed! Was she some character that just ran through and was never named? My name is more popular than it used to be. ^_^ Anyway, wow, cool.
As much as they keep me up at night and disrupt my life when I'm trying to deal with Real Life, I love my muses to death. They love to drop solutions to writing problems I'm having into my lap so casually that I hardly even notice it. They have my sense of humor. :D I was really frustrated with a problem I was having in a story, and then out of nowhere, they dropped the perfect solution on me in, of all places, the bathroom at work. Just flushed, and then, "Why don't you handle it this way?" So casual. After a few seconds, I went, "That's PERFECT! That will WORK! Thank you, thank you, thankyouthankyou!" Of course they responded with, "Oh really? You're always cursing us for keeping you awake..." They love to say "I told you so." :D It's just so nice to finally get the solution after days of frustration.
