Well... that was... boring, really. I'm not completely sure what the purpose of this thing is; it kinda seems to be listing people by how close they live to you? Something. I'd have to actually read up on it to know, which I'm too lazy to go do. It seems to have more purpose when you pay for it and then it becomes all colorful and there are webs between the people for some reason and wheeee.

Same shit, different day. I'm sick of niggly little annoying things happening that are not so big in the grand scheme of life, so you can't bitch up a storm about them, but they still get under your skin to the point that you want to scream. First, another DVD I returned to Netflix, which I took to the actual freakin' post office like they told me to, has not arrived there yet. I put it in the PO on Monday. It should be there by now. SIGH. Means I have to wait at least two weeks to not have it arrive like the other ones, then report it missing, only to have them accuse me of keeping it without actually saying it. This is getting on my nerves to the point that I'm considering cancelling my account. I probably won't, because when Netflix works, I love it and can't go on without it. When shit like this keeps happening, I want to find whoever keeps doing this with my DVDs and beat the shit out of them. If it is truly lost, it'll be the 7th DVD in nearly two months. That's too many and very frustrating. Where the hell are they going? For every DVD that gets lost, that's a DVD I don't get in the mail later, which makes me feel like I'm not getting the most out of my account. See? Stupid little problem, but it makes me roll my eyes and want to kick somebody.

Then, the lock on my mailbox is jammed. I can't get to my mail, which also drives me crazy. What if there's something important in there? They say they are going to fix it tomorrow, which they better. It just really frustrated me last night when I went to get my mail and the lock won't move. What if a Netflix DVD actually arrives back at the warehouse and they send me another, and I can't get it?!?!?! AHHHHHHRGH!

It's nice that these are really the only things I have to worry about at the present moment. Nice, but I still want to kick me some postal employees, or some Netflix employees, whoever's responsible.

Oh, I mentioned to the girl I talked to at Netflix last time that I would put Delivery Confirmation on my DVDs to make sure they got there, and she told me NOT TO DO THAT, that it would be a waste of my money. Hello... are you sure?

Yeah, I know. I'm in a cynical mood.

Oh yeah, and HAHAHA, Tori Amos is a freakin' nut. I love 'er. I just got her CD of cover tunes and I cannot believe she covered Slayer's "Raining Blood." I chortled heartily at the whole thing. The fact that she covered a SLAYER song at all is funny enough. What's next, Charlotte Church sings the best of Metallica? It's like when Babes in Toyland covered "All By Myself"...
