Oh guess what! I tested out that vcr that the vcr repair guy said was broken last year, and it WORKS JUST FINE. They claimed that parts of the loading mechanism were broken and needed replacing. Well, it loads tapes just fine, and ejects them, and plays them, and rewinds them, and so on and so on. What greedy little liars! I could just pop their heads off! When I think of all the worry I went through for so many months, using an old vcr that gave me problems and just hoping it would hold out until I could get a new one, scrimping to buy a new vcr, and all the tapes I had to play without being able to fast-forward the commercials because it would freak the old vcr out, and all this time, I had a perfectly nice vcr that I could have been using! If it wasn't for these dishonest jerks, I would have been using it. But they told me it was broken, and I didn't want to risk getting anymore tapes stuck in it, so I accepted what they said. Boy, what a bunch of crooks.

I'm never going to fully trust another vcr repairman. I'm so glad I thought to check all this out myself on the internet before I just took the vcr in to be looked at, thinking it was broken like the other one. I got one of my vcrs back because of it! ^_^
