I'm SUCH a squeeing fangirl
Feb. 5th, 2006 09:13 pmHeeheehee,
just_kaye and I often yack on the phone because I've known her for 20 years and she's not a long distance call. ;) She helps me brainstorm on stories! I just thought this was funny: I was squeeing over the fact that Dean from "Supernatural" listens to a lot of the same music I do because I've never, ever had that with a fictional character before. Nobody listens to my music, ever. I got kinda squealy over it and Kaye goes, "Why do I imagine Kathy Bates spinning around and around celebrating the fact that Misery's alive?" XD XD XD HE DIDN'T GET OUT OF THE COCKADOODY CAAAARRR!
Kaye, I'll just mention it here, since you read LJ's and GJ's before you read email now, heh - if I ever do write that story I was talking about, you mentioned it being Dawn? I found a way to work her in that I like. She could be Misty's college roommate, instead of their cousin? Does that work or what?! ^_^ Dawn and Sam go together like peanut butter and jelly, for some reason. (You get credit, you like?)
Under the cut will be the answers to the Lies Meme. If you still wanna play, don't spoil it for yourself.
tvsgrady was the only one who got all four right, though the others of you were extremely close. The following were lies:
1. My favorite book from childhood was "The Turning Place" by Jean Karl.
Yes Joe, trick question. While "The Turning Place" is a Jean Karl book, I've never read it. I loved her book "Beloved Benjamin is Waiting."
5. I almost had to repeat the fourth grade because I missed so much school from playing sick (I hated the way the other kids treated me and I was fed up).
Right, this is a lie. But it's also a trick question. This happened, it was just fifth grade.
6. Until my dad died, at least two people in my family went by their middle names. Including me.
Another trick, like Kaye said. While my dad went by his middle name and my sister does too, I never have. Laurel is my first name.
8. I still have my wisdom teeth.
Nope. Lie! All four were surgically removed in the early 90's.
