sailorhathorNo A/C yet. The guy said it should be on by Friday. I pitched a mini-fit and got a comprimise - he put screens on my windows so I could open them and get some air in here. The guy goes, "Now everyone will want them." XD Tough titties, dude. There should have been screens on my windows when I moved in. Several other apts in the building have them, now I do, woopee do for you.
I think I ruined a cute pair of shoes today. :( I walked to a convenience store very near my apt and I had to go through this patch of grass near a plant nursery, and apparently, the irrigation run-off saturates this patch. I couldn't tell. Stepped right into it, squish, my entire foot disappears. The water smelled fertilizerish. I had no choice, I had to walk through a bunch of it to get out of it. The shoes were black with mud when I got out. :( Cute flower-print slingback flats made of fabric. I tried rinsing them off, but they're still really filthy. I'll try to save them. But I think I ruined my cute shoes. There's no reason to live! WHERE'S MY KAYAK?!
