I am still experiencing these bouts of intense tiredness and not being able to think-ness since I got back from Florida. Really not sure what it is, but I'll try to recap my trip ASAP.

Under the cut is the pic of Skeet with the Mickey Mouse ears. I thought I had the scan of the whole poster, but I don't. Deej can you send that over? Either that or I'll scan it soon.

HAHAHA that is still just too funny. Click on the pic to see the larger version.

Okay, I can at least recap one day. Friday, Deej took me to a crystal store to buy a few nice things, like stones, a pretty necklace made of magnet beads, sandalwood soap, a few other neat things. Then we went to the store where her sister works where they sell wine and related items and did some wine tasting. I think we went to a place or two before going to the pool to swim. Well, I waded, since I can't swim, but it was still fun. I love to get in the pool and just mill around. After that, we ate at a place called Julian's. It's a lounge with a real live lounge singer. Great food. It was all done up with a Hawaiian mural, surfboards on the wall, all that. Looked like someplace a person would commit a crime on "Hawaii Five-O." Deejay told me about the guy who plays the organ and how he hardly moves, like an animatronic puppet, before we went there. She had a few funny things to say about the singer too. Then the woman (the singer) comes over to greet us! We nearly died. We got a few pictures there, including some with the singer. How could we not take pics with all the great atmosphere? Oh if only the Elvis impersonator had been there that night! XD

I think that's all we did on Friday... Deej and I played on the computer a lot.

Saturday, I only remember doing two things. Going to the beach and eating our leftovers while we watched an Eddie Izzard DVD. The beach was nice. I love it, but again, I can't swim, so I didn't spend a lot of time in the water. The power of the sea kinda scares me. Always feel like I'm going to get sucked under. Either way, I did enjoy messing around there. Oh, we ate at a place on the beach too. Later that day, we ate our leftovers from Bonefish and Julian's because there was a lot of food left over (they brought me big portions) and watched an Eddie Izzard DVD. If you're not familiar with him, he's a comedian. Very funny. Go rent something. Did I leave the oven on? Oh yeah, I'm a fucking squirrel. More playing on the computer. All of this was lots of fun, very enjoyable. My stomach was in heaven. (It loves to eat out whenever I can afford it. Or I go on vacation and someone else feeds me. ^_^)

I think Saturday was the day we also went to the souvenir place so I could get some tacky touristy stuff, which I adore. Got some shot glasses, a notepad, postcards, a hurricane glass with partying parrots on it (heeee), ummmmm... stuff... that said Florida and Ormond Beach and Daytona Beach on it...

I believe that was all of Saturday.

Sunday we left for Orlando and pre-Disneyworld fun, which I will recap another day. Going to go easy on the brain for now.

Oh, and I have been writing a "lost scenes" ficlette for scenes that should have been in Fate is an Engineer, and it's almost done. Anyone who would like to start beta'ing it or who are curious to see what's in it so far, head on over to [livejournal.com profile] spectral_eye. All I have left to write is the scene where Dean and Paul do laundry and chat about various junk. So far, it's all Sam and Dean and a tiny bit of Paul at the beginning. It was all written on the computer! I'm so happy it's working out. ^_^ Though I still often get the urge to write and immediately want to sack out in front of the tv with my pad and pen. Must break that habit. That habit takes forever. I'm sure I'll still work out plot bunnies that way, though.

EWPB: Like me?

Quiet, you!
