Happy Late Birthday to
tvsgrady! I haven't been very good with birthdays lately. :(
Deejay scanned this. This is the sign she was holding when I got off the plane and met her in the airport terminal.

Ah, yes, I am the Skeet Ho. I have the bracelet to prove it.
I'll recap Disneyworld later; got a sinus headache tonight. Feel all restless, like I want to do something creative, but not sure what.
Oh, I was given a copy of "A Soldier's Sweetheart" on VCD. A little background, just so the next comment will make sense: This is a movie Skeet was in with his wife, now ex-wife, Georgina Cates. I really can't remember if they were married at the time this movie was made - I don't think they were yet. But this is pretty much how they met, when they fell in love. I checked the disc to make sure it was watchable and such, and it's fine; I went through about 20 minutes of it because I got engrossed. But I made myself turn it off so I could go to bed. And because it was SO GODDAMN PAINFUL to watch. Skeet plays a Vietnam medic who sneaks his girlfriend over to the warzone in a plane-to-helicopter scheme. She plays the girlfriend. When Skeet plays Fossie, a guy in love with his gf who missed her soooo much he just had to sneak her into a hellhole, he is NOT acting on the "in love" part. The love Skeet felt for this woman, and probably still feels, is written all over his face, in his body language, it's just everywhere. It just killed me to watch them interact, knowing that they are now divorced, and that the divorce is still pretty recent. And that SHE asked for the divorce, where he had no intention of ever ending that marriage, from what he's said... Just, OUCH. So sad. I feel bad for the Pup. :(
