Stuffity stuff stuff
Jun. 20th, 2006 10:28 pmB-chan, I got the manga. Just wanted to let you know since I had to reinstall aol again and now do not know what your email address is. This computer has become a big stinking pile of poop.
I promptly went to my bookshelf and saw that I already have a copy of volume 7. WTF? I looked in it and it has no poster, so I probably thought uh oh, I have a volume 7 with no poster. But it turns out I just tore the poster out. XP Oh well. Now I have two.
Segway! Did Sam ever mention how long he and Jessica were together?
Segway yet again! HaHA, I just LOVE to see jerks who talk smack about how great they are get shot down and sent home. Enjoying this season of "Last Comic Standing," though I am not yet convinced whom I should be rooting for. Stella talked big about kicking everyone else's ass, then went up on stage and said many unfunny things. Got her butt whooped. Go home, Stella. STELLAAAAAAA! I was sorry to see April go; I thought she was kinda funny. The funniest out of the three women who went head-to-head. Any comedian who says things about how they're going to wipe the floor with someone else, or how they are the funniest in the house, please die and then get eliminated and go home. That attitude sucks. Go pop your head.
I am having trouble remembering anyone's name at this point because I haven't seen enough of them to remember. That'll change, but right now, these two will be known as Big Hispanic Guy and Crazy Wild-Haired Chick. They had the best heckling technique in the bunch - go totally over the top in the "OMG I love this comedian!!!" vein. I loved the way that BHG just would not stop laughing as hard as he could at every joke the other comedian did. And then CWHC's technique of being like, "Yeah, Roz, you ROCK! WOOOOO you ROCK Roz!" Roz just had no idea what to make of her. It was really funny. The best joke, though, was Josh's, "This Make a Wish sucks." Or something like that. I laughed out loud at several of the jokes he and his heckler made back and forth.
I feel kinda bad for Kristen. She's like a timid little bunny, so happy to be there, and they'll probably pick her off like lint for it. She doesn't seem to have a lot of confidence in herself. (Which is warranted - she ain't too funny.) But I just hate to see people act like pirahna and get rewarded for it. I really hope she gets funnier and then kicks at least a little ass if the pirahnas do start picking on her.
Do have to wonder how they pick the comedians to make the top 12, though, when people who simply aren't funny make it in, and people who made you cry laughing were outta there. I wouldn't be surprised if they have quotas, like, a certain amount of chosen comedians must be women, blah blah, so the show doesn't look bad.
What the HELL ever happened to Dat Phan?
