Hey, Laurel, look! I made some changes to the Laurel icon. Fixed it up so I like it better. Just thought you'd like to know in case you'd like to borrow the fixeded version, Laurel. And no, I am not talking to myself. I'm talking to Laurel! The balance of Laurels has shifted on LJ. :O

Time for some graphics and fanfic yapping.

A fanfic of mine has been nominated in this contest. ^_^ It's not time to vote yet though.

Here's the one I made for you, [livejournal.com profile] meredevachon. ^_^ I hope you like it. The picture comes from JRA Unlimited.

I thought this would be more appropriate for a graphic since your story is about Alec and Max.

I know I ragged on "Dark Angel" before, and I still think it's a doof of a show, but Alec has shot up to #2 on my favorite Jensen characters list. He made that show watchable. Poor baby, I just wanna cuddle the stuffing out of 'im after "The Berrisford Agenda."

The last 24 hours have been like this:

The Usual Plot Bunnies that Run Around Laurel's Head: *Hop hop hop hop hop hop HOPHOPHOPHOPHOP* Write us!
Me: I can't write you all at the same time.
Bunnies: Did you not hear us? Hop hop hop!
New Plot Bunnies: Hiiiii! *hop hop hop hop!*
Me: I'll never get you all written.
Bunnies: You will if you start right now! *HOPHOPHOPHOPHOPHOP*
Me: GAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! *tries to run* *is overrun and trampled by bunnies*

I've currently got a claim going for [livejournal.com profile] 50_darkfics, which is one of the easiest challenges I've seen if you already write a bit on the dark side. While looking through the prompts, the idea came to me to do them all in the order in which they are listed. (Something I'm sure others have undertaken.) But I can't do that for the claim I've already chosen; it's too late. So I will probably be staking a second claim. I'd really like to get at least prompt #1 written before I stake the claim (#1 Ravished); who knows when I'll ever get that done. :P I don't want to be like so many people who stake a claim, then never write a single story. But it's SO tempting to go ahead and grab it up before someone else does, if anyone. Argh. ANTSY. I'm not a drabble type of writer, either; I can't whip something up just to fill the prompt and be satisfied with it. Aw heck... I'll probably just stake my claim. Bunnies and muses are doing the watusi in my head. Eeee I love being creative. Nothing else makes me feel as high as being creative. Well, except Vicodin. ^_^
