I'm liking this season of "American Idol" so far. A few of the people acted like spoiled brats, like, "I'm in the final 80 contestants and that means I've made it! I'm a star! I'm not even going to learn my lyrics and so I'll go out there and make a fool of myself, weeeee!" Luckily, just about all of those people got eliminated. >:)

I was really afraid that the partying assholes were going to drag the others in their team down with them. That didn't really seem to happen, so I was happy. There's a time to have fun and a time to practice if you're going to be a pro singer, and those idiots were really resting on their... me's. ^_^ It wasn't the time to go out and party at all.

Paula pissed me off a couple of times; she can be such a freakin' pushover. That Corey guy just did not deserve to go through to the final round, and he did, I believe, simply because he kissed up to Paula. :P He's not that special a singer and he's ugly. Go home!

Several of the people I like made it through, but I lost a few people along the way, whom I'm not sure made it through or not. What happened to the soldier guy? He was really good, but I'm not sure he made it. What about the girl who sang "Fever" at her first audition? I really didn't think her voice was good, but it may have just been her song choice. Did she improve and go through? If she's Candice, she proved herself to me; she's got a voice. Did ugly Tarzan-looking guy get eliminated yet? I hope so. I was also glad to see the twins go home. They have good voices, but they were too intent on being exactly alike--hey girls, sing separately sometimes! The twin gimmick only goes so far. You can harmonize with each other inbetween singing parts of the song alone. It'd work better. Besides, and this will sound really superficial but it's how I feel, they both needed nose jobs if they're going to be stars. Unattractive noses. Hey, I feel it's just part of being before the public--you gotta look good.

The part that got me all teary-eyed is when Simon announced to the last group that they were all staying for the next round. They went NUTS! It was so nice to watch them get so excited. A few girls hugged the crap out of Simon, while some other people nearly knocked Randy over hugging him, and another guy picked Paula up in a bear hug. Made me feel good. ^_^
