I forgot to watch "Miracles" last week, but I remembered this week--it's a very good new show. First of all, it has Skeet Ulrich in it; yummy yummy. He's just cute and hot as can be (since he let his hair grow back out some)! Second, it's about the sort of subject I usually like in a tv show--badass paranormal shit! A group of people battling evil in a world that would never believe the kind of stuff they deal with. It reminds me of X-Files, but better, because there's no smarmy fucking MULDER in the show. Plus they don't do the alien overload storylines, at least not at this point.

Tonight's episode was pretty cool. I knew the daughter, Raina (awesome name) wasn't "right" somehow when she knew how Paul liked his coffee. All the ghosties love cool Skeet! :D I loved how the demon/evil spirit used the catatonic patient to speak through, and the stuff it said. It was the sort of stuff you would expect evil to bring up and try to use against a person. My favorite part was when Paul (Skeet) pushed the patient in the wheelchair away from the door so he and the doctor could get out, and the electronic voice speaking for the patient goes, "Oh nice, shove a cripple." I've got to learn everyone's name though, because I don't know the name of Paul's helper who came in to kick the demon's ass. That was a great part though, when he came in and locked the door, then turned to the possessed patient like, "Are there any demons here who would like their asses thoroughly kicked? Ah, you!" Oh, and the part where the demon made Paul's phone ring, and the caller ID said, "CALLER ID. YOUR MOTHER." That was great. XD I love the double meaning there, that may have not been on purpose--there's the fact that Paul is an orphan, and the fact that "Yo mama!" is an insult. XD

And yes, I just totally spoiled that episode for anyone reading this, pretty much. Sorry. :D

The only thing that worries me is the fact that the show has the David Greenwalt seal of approval on it. He's the "Angel" guy. I'm not that crazy about "Angel." Well, okay, that may just be because I hate David "I can't act and I'm ugly as sin" Boreanaz (or as I like to call him, Snoreanaz). I really don't know if I could like the show or not with him on it. The writers focus on Brood Boy and his vampire with a soul/evil vampire nature so much that I have a hard time getting into the stories. "Miracles" won't have that element, so maybe David Greenwalt's not so bad after all? We'll see.

Hahaha, the "Dude, you're getting a Dell!" guy was caught buying pot. Does this really surprise anyone? :D My dad hates that kid.
