I'll be going over to Kaye's tomorrow night to spend a couple of days, so I don't know if I'll get to update this until Saturday night. I probably will, because we're both addicted to the net, but I just wanted to say that in case we get wrapped up in something and I don't go on lj for a couple of days. I haven't seen her since April, so it'll be nice to have a visit. ^_^
The main reason I'm going over there, besides just wanting to see her, is that I traded for vcd's of the two "Miracles" episodes I don't have on tape, plus the unaired pilot, PLUS an unaired, bootleg episode that went out over the net. Yet, I have no dvd player. Yes, I was desperate. Kaye's dad has a dvd player, so we're going to watch these together. ^_^ I can't wait to see them! Hee, I was so desperate to watch them that I tried to view them on my computer. Woo boy. Ol' Son of Grendel didn't like that! I watched about 15 minutes of one episode before the picture went all pixely and my computer froze up. When I tried again, I kept getting a message about not being able to render the stream. Ah, poor old piece of crap comp. At least you tried.
I'll be able to watch them on Kaye's (dad's) dvd player, though. Eeeeee! ^______^
Maybe one of these days I'll be able to get something resembling a job and I can buy my OWN.
Another thing I thought was funny is I offered to make some food for my dad that he could eat while I was gone, stuff he could warm up, and he's like, "I want double meat sandwiches." That's a ham and turkey sandwich with mayo. So I said okay, how many meals do you want to be those sandwiches, and he replied ALL OF THEM. XD Okay, so I made him four sandwiches, all the same. MY DAD IS SO WEIRD. I'm like, "Don't you want a little variety? You want EVERY meal to be the exact same thing?" and he goes, "I'm crazy," in this really dry, sarcastic voice. XD Oh well, they were easy to make.
I get to take the train over to Kaye's, yaaaaay! The train is funners. I heart the train! It used to be sort of a pain for me to go see Kaye, or her to come see me, because it's about a 30-40 minute drive. Well, she would always have to see if she could borrow her parent's car lately because hers kept stalling out on her. Or, my dad could drive me over there, but that was annoying to him because he had to drive there, then back, then there, then back. I can understand why that would get annoying, so I didn't ask much. Now, it's a breeze. Either I take the train to a station that's not that far from her house and she comes to pick me up, or she gets on the train and comes to the station fairly close to my house. It's so nice and convenient!!
I'm going to go ahead and pack most of the things I will need tonight. I've got to do so many things before I can go. :P Clean out piggie cages (:P :P :P it takes so loooooong), put away clean dishes, and hang clothes. Maybe I should go get started on that. (not, like I won't put it off for a couple more hours)
