Just kidding, you guys are great! Mwah! Anyway, I remembered that the story I made those backgrounds for will have more than one chapter, so I'm going to use both bgs for different chapters. Everyone's happy that way. Wee!
I've been wanting some Live Action Model pics for various fanfic characters, so I did a little searching. I found some goodies. ^_^
I've got a few female Japanese characters in my head because I just love Japan and its culture, and I want to write about it. Of course, my stuff can never be perfect, because I've never lived in Japan or anything, but I do my best based on research and observation and stuff. Anyway, I couldn't come up with suitable models until I started raiding Japanese horror movies, one of my very favorite things!
This is Luna Nagai. She will be my Live Action Model for a character named Tenshi that'll appear in some of the SPN stuff, at this point. I've always wanted to have a character named Tenshi (Angel) for the longest time. I know it's a little cliche of a name, being that it means Angel, but I just think it's SO pretty. She played Tomie in one of the Tomie movies, and is my favorite Tomie because she was the prettiest one. Isn't she cute? ^_^ I'm just so happy with this choice. *bounces*
This is Kou Shibasaki. She played Yumi in One Missed Call. She very well suited to be the LAM of Sukiko, who will primarily appear in the "Ring" stuff. Although, she has a connection to "Miracles" fanfic too, being that she was Alva's T.A. at Harvard (in my fics). Another very pretty girl.
Now, I really want to find a LAM for Hotaru Tomoe. Yes, you read that right. Hotaru at about the age she might be now, which in my estimation, would be early 20's. Although she can look younger - Hotaru hasn't exactly aged normally.
Speaking of One Missed Call, while I was doing my searches, I saw that they are currently in post-production for an American remake of this movie! I am SO excited about this! I know I said the movie kind of sucked when I first saw it, but it grew on me. You know how sometimes, the first time you see a movie, you're just trying to keep up with the story, and you think 'wow, that was awful' when it's over? Then, you watch it a second time for one reason or another, and you start to notice things you didn't notice before, like good performances, cool stuff, interesting plot points, etc. And you start to like it? That has been my experience with a lot of movies. Like Nobody's Baby. I watched it for Skeet, and thought it was absolutely one of the stupidest things he'd ever been in. Then it kept coming on cable, and I kept watching it over and over, and now I adore that movie! It's still stupid, but in a very entertaining way. :D Anyway, since I love Asian horror in general, remakes just mean more Asian horror for Lo-chan! HAPPY LO-CHAN! Apparently, one of the characters (a kid?) has been renamed LAUREL. What a wonderful choice! XD I can't wait for this to come out. *bounces some more* eeeeeeee!
