In other news, my sinus attack has claimed my voice again. I had to call in sick to work because I had no voice at all, not even enough to fake it with like I did Saturday. (Talked all day with half a voice.) Trouble is, I have $1.94 left in my bank account until Friday, so I can't go see the doctor. I had to cash in all my pennies and scrounge for the rest to buy more medicine. If I don't get my voice back by tomorrow, and cannot work, and there isn't any downtime available, I could be written up and be only a couple steps from being fired. I'm hoping my job will be reasonable on this because hello, how can a person do this job when they have no voice? It's not my fault I can't freaking speak. It's fucking stupid. If I could afford to go to the doctor and get the stupid note, I'd be fine, but I could barely afford the medicine. Shit I hope I get my voice back, or if I don't, that there's downtime available. I really don't want to miss anymore work this week, though. I'll have a hard time affording it.

At least there's some good news. The host for my website has updated all their hosting packages, and I now can get 4 gigs of space and 50 gigs of bandwidth per month with my package. That's very good! It more than covers all the extra bandwidth Skeet's site is currently using every month (which hasn't gone down at all, only up). That's probably why they haven't been charging me for the extra bandwidth. *knock on wood*

I signed a new lease. My rent will go up $25, but I expected that since I got a move-in deal. Whatever, I'll do what I have to to afford it. I'm not going to find rent like this anywhere else in the city where I live, especially not for the size of this apartment. I was lucky to get this one with my credit problems. So I'm holding onto it. More good news there - I saw some other people here had pets, so I asked about it. One of the managers said I could have caged pets, like guinea pigs, without a pet deposit! ^_^ Yay! I want to make sure I can afford them before I get them, but it's just so great to know that I can have piggies again.
