Questions for the "Dark Angel" fans

yuletide fic (which is due pretty soon, so I better hightail it!) and I have a few discussion questions for the "Dark Angel" fans.
Cut for tiny spoilers.
First, did they ever go over what sort of abilities each of the different types of transgenics had? Like, I have a good sense of what X-5's could do, but what about X-6's? What was Joshua? What about the people who had mind powers, what were they? Is there a website that lays all this out or something? I'm being lazy and trying to avoid having to rewatch several different episodes.
Gem was the girl who had a baby in the series finale. Are there any theories on why her baby would not have a barcode? I don't think it really makes any sense. Both parents had barcodes. It's written into their DNA, isn't it? That's why the barcodes kept coming back. So, wouldn't their offspring have one too?
I'm still sick. Today, I spent half asleep. Still not awake. I hate feeling like this. Blah. Just gonna write the day off and watch a movie or something.
