1. What's the quality you admire the most about your favourite guest star?
My favorite guest star is Gordon. I wouldn't use the word admire, since he's done some bad things, although I could understand some of his thinking behind it. The things I like best about him is he's interesting and well acted.
2. Of the characters we've met, who do you think acts the most like a mother figure (other than Mary) towards the boys?
Ellen. Sam looks for mommies everywhere, while Dean resists them. That's why Sam looks up to her and gets along with her and Dean doesn't.
3. How do you think the lack of a permanent female presence in their lives has affected the brothers?
A lot like what I said in the last answer. Sam looks for mommy figures and Dean keeps a chip on his shoulder about it. Dean's attitude is "I had a mother, she was the only one I wanted, she died, and no one can replace her. So fuck you for trying." This is why they can't get along on the subject of Ellen. I think it also affects how Dean is with women, how he can't get too close. They might just go away.
4. Do you believe the different lighting cast on characters in this show is of any significance at all? And if so, what do you believe it's an indication of?
I haven't really noticed any different lighting, sorry.
5. Recommend one or two fanfics in this fandom that you've really enjoyed. (Please include whether pairings if applicable.)
Any fanfics written just for me with my OTP, Dean/Paul Callan from "Miracles." They can be found on my website, http://dementedstuff.com/miracles
