So, I've got this VHS tape rewinder. I found it while unpacking a box that had never gotten unpacked until now. I happily put it to good use last night, rewinding some tapes that I'd recorded off of to DVD. I get to one tape and the thing keeps popping back up, refusing to rewind the tape. I'm like uh, stupid thing, rewind! It won't. So I try another tape. Same thing. I'm thinking shit, I just find the thing again, and it's already broken? Pfft.

Turns out the tapes were already rewound.
