The mailslot of my building is very teeny. You can barely even squeeze a bill in it. :P So I have to go out just so I can put my nephew's birthday card in the blue mailbox by Skaggggg's. And I wanted to be lazy today. :PPPP (I need stamps too, so pbbt.) As long as I'm out, I should get ice cream. What the hell.
I had been on vacation for three days and still hadn't done any actual writing yet. I was starting to get nervous. Then my writing muse came back from her month-long vacation on Sunday. Yay! It's like, one minute, I was like, "I don't feeeeeel like iiiiiit," and the next, she was coming in the door with a tan, bags full of souvenirs in each hand. "I'm back, and I had a fabulous time!" I mean, it serious happened that fast. One minute, don't feeeel like iiiit, next, typetypetypetypetype.
Writing Muse (oddly, she has no name at this point): I know how all of these are going to start except this one. And this one requires that you decide what kind of demon it is before we can even start. So, pick from one of these.
Me: ::picks very randomly:: Typetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetypetype
Veruca: That's it, work, work, WORK! *whipcrack, whipcrack, whipcrack!*
I don't know what's going on with the smut-writing muse lately.
Me: Hey Mistress, there's a sex scene coming up. Get ready.
Mistress Libido: ::sitting there in a pair of sweat pants, bonding with the couch, eating potato chips and watching late night tv:: ...Huh? Oh. Meh.
Me: What do you mean? Get dressed!
Mistress Libido: Lemme alone.
Me: Mistress, it's a threesome! ...ish.
Mistress Libido: It is not.
Me: But it's at least suggestive of a threesome. One of your favorite things. Huh? Huuuuh?
Mistress Libido: *sigh* Fine. Give me half an hour.
Me: It never takes you that long! Nevermind. *goes to convert more episodes of Mtv's Fear to DVD*
Mistress Libido: Eh. We'll do it when I'm damn good and ready.
And I'm sitting on an idea that has mutated into a possible AR universe by just answering one question. The mental pictures are fun as hell. I just have to get up the motivation to write the damn story, because I know it's going to be complicated keeping track of everyone during the fight scenes.
