I haven't done the [livejournal.com profile] spn_fridayfive in a long time. The questions weren't quite as whacky as usual, so I'm going to do them this week.

1 How do you think Sam and Dean (the characters, not the actors who play them) would feel about a camera crew following them around and filming their hunts?

They'd probably say, "Get the fuck out of here, you're going to get yourselves killed!" and make them leave. Reminds me of Aquamarine Black from my Sailor Moon fic, always following the senshi around and filming their battles, trying to interview them when they're right in the middle of a fight. XD

2 Are there any completely random everyday things (songs, inanimate objects, etc) that remind you of Supernatural? Feel free to explain!

"Silent Lucidity" by Queensryche reminded me of SPN long before they used the song on the show. The lyrics about protecting someone else and standing next to them in silent understanding just reminded me of Dean's attitude toward Sam.

3 Cracktastic question of the week: If Dean and Sam talked with a demon on a messenger service (ex: MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger), how do you think the conversation would go?

Demon: *NUDGE*
Dean: Stop that, it's annoying.
Demon: *NUDGE NUDGE*
Dean: Quit it!
Demon: *NUDGE NUDGE NUDGE*
Dean: Are you a demon?
Demon: Oh shit. *signs off*

4 If it was up to you to think of a new slogan for the show, what would you choose?

Scary Just Got Sexy. Or, Um, Sexy and Just Kind of Cute in a Goofy Way. (Sorry Sam girls.)

5 20 more days to season 3! How are you feeling about season 3? Are you doing anything to prepare?

I'm hopeful it will be good. Just have to mentally prepare myself to watch SPN instead of "Don't Forget the Lyrics." Don't want to forget and watch the wrong thing on October 4th. But dang, is that karaoke show fun.

I went to the doctor today. He gave me free drugs, woohoo! Seriously, he gave me free samples of Allegra-D so I can clear up my sinus infection. Any of those allergy medications with a D on the end seem to work pretty well for my sinus probs. Take the D off and I might as well be popping M&M's. I'm allowed to have decongestants because my blood pressure is well under control now. In fact, when I went in today, it was 110/72! That's about perfect; the 72 is actually kind of low. O_o I'm shooting for vampire blood pressure. He also prescribed an anti-biotic to clear up any mucus-producing bacteria.

Then we talked about the results of my blood test. My blood sugar is a touch too high. He said it's not enough to be concerned about, but that if I don't cut down my sugar intake, I could have problems with glucose-intolerance by the time I'm 50-55 years old. (In 20 years.) In other words, if I cut down my sugar intake now, I could avoid diabetes in 20 years. I've been considering cutting out the Kool-Aid anyway because there's a lot of sugar in it. I'm going to try the sugar free drink mix and see how I like it. I have to avoid the stuff that's in Crystal Light because it gives me headaches. So I got this drink mix made by Great Value which has ?? in it instead of sugar. We'll see how I tolerate it. The doc also gave me this list of foods that are good for reducing your sugar intake, and if I could paraphrase it, it says, "Everything that tastes good, you shouldn't have. Everything that tastes alright or plain bad, have all you want." Now, some of the list was about reducing your fat intake too, but still, I can't live without sweets. I freakin' crave them. But I can cut them down. We'll see how next year's blood test goes.

Doctor also said I have lost 8 pounds. I had no idea. ^_^ Not sure how I did that.
