A Nice Day

sailorhathorToday was nice. Nancy came over and we hung out. I told her all about this book I got that I loved when I was a child; I'm just so happy to have this book again. (It's called "Beloved Benjamin is Waiting" for those who haven't been subjected to me blathering about it in the last month.) We went to Half Price Books because she wanted to get a book, so I made a beeline for the children's section and looked at the "Choose Your Own Adventure" books. This store usually has several, and they're so cheap. I love it! I picked up about 6 of them; it beats paying all the extra for postage off amazon.com. If I'd had more money, I would have bought all the ones I was interested in. One is about being the "Prisoner of the Ant People," lol! So cheesy and fun. These were some of my favorite books when I was a kid. It's so fun to relive memories from the past (at least the good ones).
Nancy bought me dinner from Wendy's, numnum. I don't care what anyone says--Wendy's has the best freaking fries in the world. I gobbled 'em up.
Then we came back here and she drew me a few pictures (you'd have to look at my site to understand what that's all about). A pretty nice day. Now I got several goofy kid's books to thumb through tonight. ^_^
For some reason, I've got pain in my jaw and inner ear on the right side. It feels sinus related. I hope it goes away by tomorrow, as these things sometimes do. If not, I may be getting an ear infection; it feels ear infectiony. Which wouldn't surprise me, with all the sinus problems I've had the last few weeks. Oh well. Hope not. I don't think it'd be good to have a doctor expense right now.
