This week's
spn_fridayfive.
1.) Who do you feel has had the better character development so far between Sam and Dean this season?
Eh, it's been about equal.
2.) In the episode Bedtime Stories, what's another fairytale that you wish they would have dealt with?
Rapunzel, because how do you translate that to modern times? That might've been funny.
3.) In last night's episode, "Red Sky at Morning", it was revealed that Bela has killed or caused the death of one of her relatives. What do you think she did to which relative and why? (She mentioned that no one understands the why.)
I think they are either going to give her a tragic past where someone abused her and she killed them, or someone was turned into some sort of dangerous supernatural creature and she had to kill them to keep them from hurting other people, which is how she found out about the supernatural world in the first place. Either explanation could explain why people don't understand why she did it. (They don't believe her about the abuse or they don't believe in the supernatural.) I'm not particularly excited about either idea, but then again, I don't like Bela at all.
4.) Ruby mentioned to Sam that he's going to have to do some things that he won't like in order to save Dean and get him out of his contract. What do you think Ruby could have in mind?
Sam will probably have to embrace a bit of his dark side and command demons in some way, like he was "destined" to.
5.) Now that the WGA strike is a reality, how do you feel about Supernatural potentially getting just 12-15 episodes this season (if the strike lasts long enough) instead of the usual 22? In what ways do you think Kripke's plan for this season will change?
I think that would suck, and might even get the show cancelled. I would like to see how the story is meant to play out. I hope Kripke won't rush things to get the whole story told by mid-season. I'd rather have a long hiatus and find out how it ends later than see things get rushed.
