spn_fridayfive for this week.
1 With Gordon dead, do you think it will help the boys focus more on finding a loophole in Dean's deal, or do you think it opens up more room for the writers to add another antagonist to the boys' lives? Or do you think something else completely?
I don't think Gordon's death will change the situation with Dean's deal at all. I also think that the boys have enough antagonists at this point and the writers should focus on supernatural threats for a while.
2 "Fresh Blood" was yet another vampire episode. How do you feel about that? Do you want to see more vampire-centric episodes or have you had enough of them?
Unless they bring back Lenore, I've had enough of them for a while.
3 Many people are opposed to Bela's character being on the show because she doesn't fit into the hunting world enough to run into Sam and Dean that often. Do you agree? Do you disagree? What could the writers do with her character (besides killing her off) to make you like her role better?
It definitely is strange that they never even knew Bela existed before this season and now they can't seem to get rid of her. Her job would cause her to run into hunters, I'm sure, but that much? If they want me to like Bela, they need to give her some redeemable characteristics. Right now, she cares more about money than human life, and I despise people like that. I knew she was going to be in this for the money, but I had no idea they'd take it as far as they have with her. The idea of her and Dean having sex makes me want to puke.
4 The third season hasn't really focused on any of the monsters (like the wendigo) or urban legends (like Bloody Mary) that the first season did. How do you feel about that?
I enjoyed the first season better. This season has been really meh for me, save for an episode or two. They're spending too much time on their flawed mythology.
5 What did you think of Gert hitting on Sam in "Red Sky at Morning"? Was it cute and funny or just annoying?
It was the highlight of the episode. Very funny. I wanted Sam to strip for the old broad and give her a little thrill. "You're just firm all over," rofl.
