I'd still really like it if you guys who didn't sign your birthday messages would point out to me which ones were yours. Otherwise, I'll just have to assume they were from the other people who have already identified their messages.
My birthday post
I go back to the Immunologist next week for my skin tests. Since I saw him, I have developed new symptoms. I'm having low grade fevers several times a week. The skin across the bridge of my nose and cheeks plus my scalp keep turning bright red for no reasonable explanation. While my face is red, it itches like crazy, and while my scalp is red, it hurts to touch it. It almost feels like a sunburn with how sensitive it becomes. Then everything goes back to its normal color a few hours later. Same with the fevers - my temperature goes up, I feel like shit, I get chills, I sometimes get nauseous, and then a few hours later, I feel better. If I have Tylenol with me, I take it and the fever usually goes away soon. These are all more symptoms of lupus. If I don't have it, I have something that mimicks lupus or has the same symptoms. I'm not the doctor, so they'll have to figure it out. And soon. I want medicine! I want relief! I'm tired of feeling so bad all the time.
Fevers make me hallucinate in my sleep. Even low grade fevers. It's kind of funny. I hallucinated all night one night when my temperature went up a little. I kept waking up and seeing bugs crawling on my bed, and I'd swat at them. Then when I woke up a little more, I'd turn on the light and see no squashed bug. They were never there. I had some clothes draped across the end of my bed and I hallucinated that there was something wrong with them, so I kicked them all off the bed in my sleep. :D I got up and was like HUH? How'd these get on the floor?! I don't usually sleep so fitfully.
Anyway, me and the doc will talk about it next week.
Happy Birthday to the elusive
kaijawest. :)
