The Lost Room
Apr. 16th, 2008 12:55 amI Netflixed it. (Yes, that is a verb.) Has anyone else seen this Sci-Fi Channel mini-series? Did Richard Hatem write this or just executive produce it? I watched the credits at the beginning waiting for a writing credit and got sick of staring at the screen that long. Anyway, I don't know who to properly credit, so for now, I'll just blame Richard.
RICHARD HATEM, YOU ARE FUCKING WITH MY HEAD WITH THIS MINI-SERIES! It's not what I thought it would be at all, but it's pretty damn cool anyway. In some ways, I would prefer that not so many people knew about the Lost Room, because it seems sort of improbable that it would happen that way. I think it might be cooler and more believable if it was still a very underground thing. But I get that they had to fill about 4 1/2 hours. Still, with its imperfections, it's still pretty goddamn cool. I have the last part left to watch. After that buildup, the ending better be awesome.
The only character that really grates on my nerves is Jennifer, but that's only because I dislike the actress playing her. She looks like a department store mannequin come to life. Gives me the creeps.
