Next year, there's going to be an exchange between "The Tonight Show" and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" where Jay Leno retires, Conan takes his place on TTS, and Jimmy Fallon takes over on LN. I was thinking about this the other night and I'm anxious about what this is going to do to each show. First off, are the bands going to be exchanged? I highly doubt it. I can't imagine Conan interacting with anyone but Max Weinberg and La Bamba and such. That'll be really weird. Second, the only reason I watch TTS is because of "Headlines" on Monday night. The rest of the time, it's background noise. Conan is the really funny show. But I LOVE "Headlines." God they make me laugh so hard. Actual goofs in newspapers across the country. "This Sunday on the WB, '7th Heaven' and 'Everybody Hates Christ'!" The funny wedding names that are actually REAL. The Rider-Hard Wedding. The Long-Wang Wedding. I MUST have my Headlines on Monday night! And the occasional "Stuff We Found on Ebay."

Will Conan do Headlines? I am doubting it at this point because he currently does "Actual Items" instead, which are fake newspaper goofs they make up and pretend are real, but it's all just a big joke. Except they're never funny jokes. Will Conan replace Headlines with Actual(ly Not Funny) Items? Pbbbbbt. :P

TTS is just a really different show from Late Night and I'm wondering if Conan plans to turn it into his wacky show or will tone himself down so he's not so crazy and racing turtles attached to rocket cars. I think it would be a big shame if Conan shoots himself up with tranquilizers and becomes boring. But I'll forgive him if he still does Headlines.

We got new phones at work and they're a bit more complicated than the old ones. Can I dropkick one yet?
