Interesting
Jun. 13th, 2008 03:25 pmMy dreams are inventing urban legends now. Last night I dreamed that
mooserat and I were in a high school auditorium where some people were practicing a play, and we had a table out in the aisle where we were sitting. (Isn't that considerate of us, a table out in the aisle.) She told me about this urban legend about a guy getting sick and recovering and all these people being happy about it because it was in the newspapers for some reason. I thought there's something missing there, so I went to look for info on the internet about it. While I was on the computer, I had a conversation with some guy I don't know about Mobil's headquarters being located in Iceland or Greenland (???) because we were going there to visit it like it was a tourist attraction. (?????) Then I found the info I was looking for and went back to me and Moosie's table. Somewhere I'd gotten a very large bowl of very delicious-looking chocolate chip cookies. I told Moosie that she'd heard only part of the urban legend - that the whole story was there were two sick men, and this church wanted to prove the power of prayer so they prayed non-stop for one guy and not the other. The guy who got prayed for survived. (Typical urban legend stuff.) Moosie started heckling the people on the stage and that's about it.
Meme I saw on
j_p_fan's journal:
You are in a mall when the zombies attack. You have:
1. one weapon.
2. one song blasting on the speakers.
3. one famous person to fight alongside you.
Weapon can be real or fictional. Person can be real or fictional.
1. Gun, because they seem to be really effective when you shoot zombies in the head (I'm assuming that the ability to aim and shoot properly when you've never shot a gun in your life comes with the fantasy gun)
2. "Rock! Rock! ('Til You Drop)" by Def Leppard
3. Dean Winchester, of course
