sailorhathorI've heard some things about tonight's SPN and I just have to say that I hope they do this:
There's supposed to be some big stuff revealed about Sam tonight in terms of how he relates to the show's mythology. I hope that they don't do exactly what people have suspected for years and make Sam be not John's child but Azazel's child. I want Sam and Dean to be full-blood brothers. AND, I know how they can do it and still be true to the mythology of Azazel.
Azazel was one of the fallen angels who mated with human women to make badass hybrid kids, right? So he POSSESSED JOHN on the night Sam was conceived. BINGO! Sam has My Two Dads! His mortal daddy and his demon daddy. That way, Dean and Sam are still pretty much full-blood brothers, even if Sam's is supercharged. I mean, how else could Azazel have sex with Mary if he's not in a human body? (I guess he could do it like Daehok impregnated Gabrielle on "Xena," but meh, I like my idea better in this case.)
Another thing I think they might do: On the "Sam has an evil destiny" storyline, maybe Castiel brought back Dean because he knows Dean is the only person who can save Sam. He's the person who loves him most, and the person most likely to be able to save Sam from himself. Maybe God has some sort of plan for Sam too. Make your enemies your allies, perhaps?
Some fans think that maybe Mary's father made a crossroads deal in this too. I'm anxious to see if that will happen.
