Here are screencaps of that weapon I was babbling about last night. It kind of looks like a spur on a chain. If anyone knows what it's called, please let me know.

EDIT: OhhhHHHHhhhh. Now I see.

I paid closer attention to a few things on the DVD, like the trailer, and I noticed something that I didn't see before. The star on the chain is supposed to mirror the star on the top of the one girl's Christmas tree. So that's explained.

However, with the basic design of the chain thing and how it works, I find it hard to believe that it isn't real, just with a more traditional throwing star? It's such a great idea. This thing has got to exist beyond a silly horror movie.
