Random funny thought: When I was supposed to be working for Bank of America, I would have been working in the Countrywide building. Now that I'll be working for Countrywide, I'll be in the Bank of America building. Haha. XD

All kinds of random stuff in this post. First, I got my Master Fic List done! I've been wanting to do one of these for a while now, and I finally finished it. This lists every fanfic I've written to date, including all the multi-chapter stuff, in one handy little place. I also included links to the SOPI stuff although I want to expand it; I got lazy there. XD
Time for a visit from the Porn Fairy!

Seasons 1 and 2 of "Friday the 13th: The Series" have come out on DVD and I've been getting them from Netflix. This was a really great, inventive show. If you're not familiar with it, you can read about it under the cut. I also included a few What Do They Look Like Now pics. That was one thing I never understood, why they called this show "Friday the 13th: The Series" when it had absolutely nothing to do with the Jason movies. I think many people who weren't familiar with the show thought it WAS about Jason, but it wasn't. It was about an antique store called Curious Goods where the original owner made a pact with the devil to allow all the antiques to be cursed. He tries to get out of the deal and the devil kills him and takes his soul for it. His niece Micki and her cousin Ryan inherit the store, and with it... THE CURSE!! (hee) They don't know the antiques are cursed, so they sell as much stuff as possible with the intent of liquidating the store. The original owner's business partner, Jack, shows up, and somehow they figure out about the curse. In order to use a cursed antique, you usually have to murder people; once Micki and Co. figure that out, they feel guilty for selling them, and make it their life's work to get all the cursed objects back.

An example: A man gets a cursed "magic lantern" that projects slides when you light the candle inside. He puts slides from the Civil War in it and the slides allow him to go back to 1862; he steals things and then takes them back to our time, where these items are priceless collectors items. In order to do this, he has to kill someone to go back in time AND to go forwards. (Ep 2.13 Eye of Death)

The ideas that they came up with for cursed antiques and how they could be used were usually really creative. At the end of season 2, Ryan left the show and was replaced by Johnny. A lot of fans have said they didn't like Johnny or season 3 because of Ryan's departure, but I couldn't disagree more - I liked Johnny AND season 3. Season 3 had some really awesome episodes, some of the best. I also really got into how Johnny struggled with the right and wrong of when it was okay to use an object and how conflicted he felt over what the curse put people through. (A prime example being the ep with the cursed wheelchair.) So I have no problems with the 3rd season. I can't wait for them to release it on DVD too, whenever that will be.

My curiosity sent me searching for pics of what the actors look like now. It was actually really easy to find some of most of them.

Louise Robey (Micki) now. She's nearly 50. Eesh, that makes me feel old. Apparently she's done some more singing and her songs are making the rounds on the net now. I couldn't find any myself, not yet.

John D. LeMay (Ryan) now.

Steven Monarque (Johnny) now.

Couldn't find any recent pics of Chris Wiggins (Jack). I did read his list of credits, though, and saw that he did some voice work on "Sailor Moon"!!! He was the narrator for the dub, among other things. :D As much as the dub sucked, that is still so cool. :D

I've always wanted to do some F13thTS fanfic, especially crossovers, but with the crossovers, I can't decide how I want to handle the time thing. Do I just pretend that everything that happened on the series happened in the last five years, or leave it in the late 1980's and age everyone 25 years? If I do the first option, then I have a very natural x-over with "Miracles" with Alva and Jack being old friends. Jack is a knowledgeable occultist. But, if Jack is in his 70's now, does it still work? I suppose they still could have met somewhere. With the second option, Ryan would have grown up by now and could come work for the store again. My brain also wants some sort of romantic entanglement between Micki and somebody, but what age do I make her? Do I say she got hit by one of the curses and doesn't age normally, so she looks the same as she did on the show? Or do I find a model for her aged in her 40's? I already have someone in mind (Julianne Moore). I don't want to sound unkind - Louise Robey is still a talented woman with gorgeous hair - but she looks her age. I'm not so interested in hooking her up with someone who looks young enough to almost be her grandson. :P Overall, I'm not big on the relationships with a large age difference. It really depends. If I use my model, the possibilities for hookups really opens up for me. It doesn't make me go "Ew" anymore. XD I'll have to give it some thought. The Porn Fairy must be appeased!

With the Miracles/Supernatural stories I've been writing, I have a pretty good idea of how it will end now. I'd really like to find a woman for Sam. I keep throwing him up against various women and it's just not working. I'm going to give a couple hookups a chance to see if they catch on, but the only (living) character he's ever had any chemistry with for me so far has been (blonde) Ruby. He can't wind up with her. As good as he looks with her, she's a demon. He's going to have eternal love with a demon? With the demon's vessel, maybe, but not Ruby herself. BLAH. It always has to be complicated. There's always a problem for poor Sammich. So, Micki? Maybe? Porn Fairy, help!

Yeah, thanks for yet another terribly obscure crossover, muses! :P

To prove that I am still an airhead, I've been fussing for a while over the fact that I want to make photo manips of Sam&Dean and Lenore, the vampire from "Bloodlust," to illustrate my other fanfic, but there are so few good shots of her from the episode that are actually useable, with how dark that episode was shot. Then it suddenly occurred to me yesterday that I could take any pic of the actress that I want, even well-lit, nicely posed shots, and use them. If her hair is blonde in the shot, all I have to do is use Photo Deluxe to turn it black. X_x Good ideas don't like to come to me quickly. Heeeeere good ideas... I've got a treat for you...
