My reaction to the season premiere of SPN.

Of course, there will be spoilers.

Lemme see, random comments, will not be in order of when they happened in the ep...

- LOVE the idea of Dean being Michael's chosen vessel. He can still be a regular human, overall, but special somehow, like Jimmy. I've never been really into the idea of Dean having powers, except certain types. He's more interesting to me as a protector. I bet by the end of the season that he'll somehow be forced to act as Michael's vessel; I hope that at least he and Michael get to work together so it's Dean kicking ass as well as Michael. And then Michael leaves and goes back to Heaven where he belongs.

- I'm not real impressed with Lucifer's vessel so far. He doesn't fit my mental image of what a Lucifer vessel should look like. Looks like he should be sitting on the couch watching football and drinking a beer, scratching himself. I'll wait and see how he does as Lucifer, but I'm really meh over him so far. I kinda wanted the "Lucifer circling his vessel" thing to go on a little longer, maybe another episode or two; it seemed to happen too fast. I mean, if someone came to me and said hey, I'm Lucifer, can I possess you? I wouldn't be so quick to believe it. Worst thing is, now I'm going to have to put up with a whole season of people calling him "Lucy." *shudder* Dumbest nickname ever.

- I love how they keep kidding the Wincest fangirls. Hey, ooh, ooh, Kripke! Parody the Dean/Castiel fangirls next! I want to see their reaction to that! XD I chuckled quite a bit at the fangirl being a Sam!girl and how she wouldn't stop touching him. "Please stop touching me now." "No..." XD All very cute.

- Badass Castiel! What is up with that goofy sword, though? It's the same one Uriel was using, and it looks like a midget sword or something. I guess it's easier to make with the stabbity stabbity, but it'd just look better if it was full size. Reminds me of the ultimate slayer axe thing that Buffy got in season 7; pretty cool idea, but didn't look anything like how I imagined a weapon like that should look.

- I am endlessly fascinated with John Winchester's storage lockers. They could entertain me for an entire season just going over what must be in those lockers, how John got them, what they do, etc. I'd like to see them do more with that idea.

- Who put Sam and Dean on the plane and resurrected Castiel? I think it's a safe bet it was God. Haha, Zachariah, Daddy's home! OOH, I know who should play God. ANTHONY STEWART HEAD!!! That would be AWESOME. Or a woman. That'd be cool too.

- I'm disappointed that because Sam and Dean were so freaked out about suddenly being on the plane that we didn't get to see any Dean "OH MY GOD I'M ON A PLANE THAT LOOKS LIKE IT MAY CRASH AND I'M AFRAID TO FLY!!!" freak out. :( That would have been an especially funny touch.

- New!Meg is okay. She wasn't really on screen long enough for me to get any real impression. They need to give her a demon name. Meg was the name of her first vessel, not the name of the demon. All she has to do is explain that yes, you know me as Meg, but I have an actual name, ya know. As is, it seems kinda funny. Alistair. Azazel. MEG. XD
The only thing that bothers me about New!Meg is her overgrown eyebrows. I know it's a superficial thing, but it bothers me when women have eyebrows that are too wide or bushy or a freakin' unibrow like Nuby almost had. It isn't exactly attractive on a guy either, but... I'm glad that New!Meg was in constant motion so I didn't have a chance to stare at them too long. XD

- They kept hinting that Bobby may have a trial ahead of him, that he may "never walk again," but I want to know why stabbing yourself in the gut would make you lose your ability to walk. Like how John getting shot in the leg at the end of season 1 could turn into an arm in a sling. XD Either way, it could be an interesting thing to see Bobby go through, a regular trial of the medical variety.

- If Sam really has been magically healed of his demon blood addiction, I'm extremely disappointed. I think it would have been very interesting to see him struggle with it for at least a couple more episodes. Instead, he's HEEEEALED, brother, HEEEEEALED of his addiction! Can you get up brother and WAWK?!! I say WAWK brother! I... I can walk! It's a miracle, a miracle!

- I think I am the only fan in creation who thinks Zachariah is a sweet little lamb. I just love him!
I'm kidding. He's a total dick. :D I want God to give him a good beat down, and soon. Or, have Castiel do it several times before God finishes him off for being a bad, bad angel.

- What kind of sigil did Cas put on Sam and Dean's ribs? That was a cool idea. Does that sigil not work on Cas for some reason, maybe because he's the one who put it on in the first place? How will he find them if it does?

- Bad Bobby, he didn't have his protective medal thingie on when that demon possessed him. He should have gone with Sam and Dean to the tattoo parlor.

- I guess angels are more powerful on Earth when they take a vessel? It seems to be pretty important. I just thought they did that so they could communicate with people since humans can't look at them or listen to them without dire consequences.

- HEEEY! Jimmy is an angel vessel; he's special, so he could hear Castiel's voice and understand him without his ears bleeding. Sure, there were some herky-jerkings in front of the tv, but... so if Dean is also an angel vessel, then why couldn't he hear Castiel without his ears bleeding? Is it that you can only hear the natural voice of the angel that will be possessing you? I'll be interested to see if they address that.

- I wonder how long it will be before someone buys morethanbrothers.net? Okay, it's probably already bought. I wonder how long it will be before someone makes something of morethanbrothers.net? :D

I think that's all I wanted to say. If I think of anything else, I'll just add it. Overall, a pretty good episode.

COMMENTS ABOUT NEXT WEEK'S EPISODE BELOW. If you don't watch the previews because you're just that spoilerphobic, don't read the following.

Ellen and Jo! YAAAAY! As much as I hated Jo in season 2, I'm happy to see them come back because of the potential for what they could do with Jo now. Maybe they've learned from their mistakes and she'll be a better character. I hope they don't just kill her off. That'd be especially wasteful, to do hardly anything with her, never truly develop her, and then just kill her. It would especially be sad for Ellen. So, as much as I bitched and moaned about Jo, I really hope she survives the episode and is a better character for it.

WHY AM I SO GODDAMN HUNGRY?!?! I ate dinner and a couple hours later, I was hungry again, and I haven't been able to satisfy it yet! I need to go to the grocery store. There are no snacks in the house. Me hungry! >:(

I watched the Rifftrax version of the original House on Haunted Hill. People have been telling me for years that I have to see this movie, it's the scariest movie ever, oh my God so scary, yadda yadda yadda. Did everyone see it when they were six or something? Were people just really easy to scare in the 50's? Vincent Price is cool, but seriously... there was one moment I found halfway jump-worthy and the rest was ripe riffing material. I mean, a skeleton? Are you kidding me? She screams bloody murder over a skeleton? When was that ever scary? Oh right, WHEN WE WERE ALL FIVE YEARS OLD. X_x I hope the book wasn't that lame.
