Supernatural 5.02!

WOO! SPN is BACK! What a fantastic episode.

Random thoughts...

- My left ear is full of crud so I can't always hear out of it very well right now; I'm going to have to watch/listen to this scene again, but it's nice to see that they finally gave some meaning to Dean's necklace. It sounded like something they made up, but it's something. But HEY, CAS! If you want one of those necklaces, go buy it on Ebay like the rest of us. ;D

- No, seriously, the electric sex between Dean and Cas when they fight...! MAN. Both using growly voices, Castiel commanding Dean to give him the necklace by bringing up what he's lost and how he did it all for DEAN, "I did it all for you!", and Dean growling, "No!"... WUFF. LO LIKEY.

- "Now I feel naked." Oh how I wish Cas would feel you naked. *dreamy sigh*

- I don't really want Cas to wear the necklace. I hope he just keeps it in his pocket and holds it up when they need it. It seems wrong for anyone else to wear it. I want to see the look on Castiel's face when he gets near God and the necklace starts burning in his pocket. Talk about hot pants...

- WILDLY INAPPROPRIATE SEXUAL COMMENT AHEAD. Misha's been eating too much pussy again. His lips were super chapped.

- Question answered! Castiel can't find them either with the Enochian sigils on their ribs. (That would be a really weird sentence in most other fandoms.) I like that he called them on Sam's cell phone. Did Sam call him "Cas-steel" though? XD
Can you imagine being that x-ray technician, seeing those sigils on Bobby's ribs? It's not like he can explain them away like they're body piercings or tattoos. XD I wouldn't want to be Bobby when he has to explain that.

- I'd still like to know why Bobby is crippled. I'll eventually get over it. WAAAWK, BOOBY! You can WAAAWK!

- Did it seem like everyone was ignoring Sam? Ellen didn't hug or slap him. :(

- War with the red Mustang! That was a fun change! I like it!

- Yaaaay Ellen and Jo were both really cool in this ep, though they seemed to be holding back on the Jo and giving us plenty of Ellen. Probably a wise decision, with the fan reaction to each of them.

- I can now understand why some fans see chemistry between Dean and Ellen. Still don't dig it, though. I'm just too conscious of their age difference.

- I liked the whole conversation between Sam and Ellen when Ellen said she still didn't think Jo was cut out for the hunting life and that's why she was hunting with her, to look after her. It shows that they're trying to right their wrongs when they made Jo too much of a badass too quick; now she seems to be developing as a hunter a bit slower.

- I knew something was up when Jo, who was supposedly possessed, said to her mother, "You give me back my Mom, you black-eyed bitch!" Couldn't figure out what it was, but who would be able to but DEAN! And people who read spoilers. (Although, I read all the spoilers for this ep and I didn't realize we'd be seeing one of the Four Horsemen so soon.)

- It was nice to see some mother-daughter interaction between Ellen and Jo. More, please.

- I wanna hear more about how Bill Harvelle died. They need to revisit that plot point.

- My local CW affiliate keeps showing the wrong promos. About 30 minutes before the ep, they showed a promo for next week's episode. I was suspicious! Then shortly before the ep, they showed the correct promo. I was happy. ^_^ Because I was all set for Ellen and Jo's return and thought I might not get to see it.

- I understand that Jo and Rufus thought Sam was possessed, but it just seemed weird to me that Jo acted like she didn't even know who he was. It would have been nice for her to remark, "Oh no, that's Sam Winchester!" or some sort of comment or reaction to the fact that the last time she saw him, he was also possessed AND attacked her. Am I to assume that Dean called her later and filled her in on what happened? For all she knew, Sam was still possessed by the same demon. Ohhh weeeell.
(I'm prefacing this by saying that this scene is another where I missed lines while watching it because of my ear and the actors talking low. If Jo said something about any of this, I couldn't hear it well.)
At first, I thought Rufus was glad they caught Sam because he was the one who set Lucifer free, and they were going to do something to him, thinking he was evil. But that wasn't the case.
I wonder what they really poured down Jared's throat for that scene. 'Cause having a bunch of salt poured in your mouth would be pretty nasty.

- Yay! Sam's still having issues with the demon blood! I knew that fix was too easy. ^_^

- The ending, OH! MY HEART! They need some time apart. Dean has good reason to be mad and they just need some time away from each other. But I want them to fix it SOOOOON. I think it's supposed to take a couple of episodes. All makes sense, though.

- I hope we see all four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. That was all kinds of cool.

- Oh, I wonder if Dean took Castiel's advice and read the Bible. Seems like it. I certainly didn't recognize those omens. (Are those omens really in the Bible? I've never read it cover to cover.)

I think those are all the observations I have. If I think of anything else, I'll add it.

Happy day meme! My happy thing for Thursday: New SPN episode!

My happy thing for Friday: I'm starting to feel a lot better. These 5-day antibiotics are killer. Although I could use a nap. (I wrote this during the day around noon and am just getting to post it now.)
