I really want to finish this by the deadline, but there's still so much story to tell. I'll just press on! *dramatic hand to forehead*
My God but I love crockpot meat (also known as pot roast). I made a roast in my crockpot, slow cooked it for 12 hours. Came out so juicy and tender that I don't even need a knife to cut it. Practically melts in my mouth. Eeeyuuuuuuummmmmm...
Because I don't have cable, I have to deal with a lot of local TV (albeit, digital box local tv, which is better), and lately, I've gotten much enjoyment out of a channel called Ion Life. Specifically, the "fixing up old houses" and "we give you money to redo a room in your house" shows. But the best one is "She's Crafty"! And is she ever! Lady teaches you how to do various awesome craft projects. Wanna make a picture frame into a tray? It's so clever! Think a bunch of slides chained together in rows would make a great lamp shade? It does!! Want to make a leather wristband just like the one Alex wore in The Uninvited? I do, and now I know how! (Crafty chick made a different kind of leather wristband, but it'd be easy to modify.) I LOVE crafts. Even if I never make time to do half this stuff, just watching someone do it is fun for me. I'm going to start taping these!
