sailorhathorGot my assignment! I'm surprised! It's going to be a bit of a challenge. Now to set the muses loose and see what they come up with to make it interesting... *rubs hands together* Best part is, I didn't get the "oh crap why did I offer that again?" fandom. Phew. :D
I really, really hope I can make time to write some Stocking Stuffers. I've got a bunch of ideas for various fandoms and I'd love an excuse to write them.
I was talking about that letter I'm supposed to get from unemployment, that I was SUPPOSED to get today. Didn't come. Instead, I got an unrelated letter about applying for educational pell grants. Ummm, okaaaay... doesn't make much sense. The mail around here has been very wonky this month. I imagine the letter is just delayed; the info on the unemployment website was pretty specific, and it definitely had nothing to do with pell grants. There must be a second letter. If it doesn't come Monday, I'll call them Monday night (the info number is open until 7pm) and see what the hell is going on. I really wanted to get that letter today so I could prepare myself for whatever I have to do, but whatever. I'm just going to try to shake it off and go on with my weekend; there's nothing else I can do.
Honestly, I'm not in the best humor after this. Too much uncertainty makes me crazy. *sigh*
