A dream of Angus and... Sadako?
Sep. 27th, 2003 03:33 amI had another "Miracles" dream this week, I think it was Wednesday. For some reason it's still an interesting dream to me so I thought I should write about it. I'm not really sure why though. Maybe I'll understand it later.
Anyway, me and a bunch of people were playing some game, I really don't know what. But it involved running around my house, outside, in the dark. The garage was open (both doors) and the lights were on, so it must've been "home base." I had hidden this little statue that reminded me of Sadako from the Ringu movies in the mailbox, and I think finding this statue had something to do with the game. She was inside a black trash bag. There was a second statue in an identical bag hidden somewhere else.
So, Angus Macfadyen was a friend of mine, and he was playing the game with us. He comes running around the house with one of the trash bags in his hand and I'm like gaaaah, is that the Sadako statue?, and I try to grab it out of his hand. To keep me from getting it, he throws the bag toward the front of the garage and the statue inside shatters. I got really upset and started yelling at him, stuff like if that was the Sadako statue that he just broke, I was very mad at him, why did he do that, so on. Apparently the other statue didn't mean anything to me, but the Sadako one did. I start to go check which statue it was in the bag and Angus, obviously upset at what he just did, runs to his car and goes to drive off because he doesn't want to deal with me being upset. I run up to the car and start yelling at the window that if he leaves now, that will make me even more upset because he should stay and face me. "If you leave now and it turns out that's the Sadako statue in the bag, I will be even more upset with you than I am now, so you better just turn off that car or you know what will happen!" Stuff like that. I'm just screaming and pointing into the garage and practically jumping up and down, but he drives off anyway.
Next "scene," I'm in the downstairs living room which looks completely different, but I knew it was the downstairs living room anyway, and I'm sitting on the couch crying over pieces of the statue. Angus comes in and sits down and apologizes for breaking it. Then he asks me why the statue meant so much to me, and I replied, "Because ________ gave it to me before he committed suicide." I have no idea what name I said, it wasn't anyone I knew, or I'd remember it. I know it was just some really generic guy's name (because if it had been weird, I probably would remember it too). He put his arm around me with this really sympathetic look on his face, then I woke up.
I'm not sure why this dream is sticking in my head, maybe because it seems to be full of symbols.
And
From the muscles of bats?!?! ^v^ ^v^
