sailorhathorI just played Pac-Man on Google! XD At first I couldn't figure out how to do it, but then I tried using the arrow keys and Pac-Man started to move. How fun! I don't know how long it will be up. I hope for longer than his birthday lasted. Made me miss the game. ^_^
So apparently, I really like sci-fi movies where aliens blow everything up while people run through the streets screaming. I saw the 2005 version of War of the Worlds this week and I kinda liked it. It's a bit weak in some areas, but the special effects are awesome and there's lots of people running and screaming while the Martians zap them. INTENSE. I think I would have liked it more if the central family had gotten along better. The problems they had made for some interesting dialogue in some places and annoying, pointless conflict in other places. And I know they didn't write the ending because it's based on the book, but the ending seemed too convenient. Maybe it was just the way this story was told that made the ending seem more convenient than usual. Anyway, I like any movie that shows me amazing things I will probably never get to see, which is why I enjoy sci-fi films like this. Because you know if we were really invaded by aliens, I'd be GLUED to the TV 24-7.
