sailorhathorI had a hilarious dream last night. Yesterday I shaved my legs because they were getting stubbly, then I dreamed that I had to go to a funeral for which I wore a skirt. During the funeral, I looked down and saw that my legs were super, super hairy, like almost Bigfoot level of hairiness, and I got really mad and yelled, "Damn it, I just shaved my legs last night and they're already hairy again!" XD My hair grows kind of fast, but not THAT fast.
Micro movie reviews:
Saw II: Although I already knew the main secret of this one, I still really enjoyed it. Kept my attention all the way through (I seriously had trouble looking away for more than a few seconds) and even managed to have a couple of cool death traps. I especially liked the one that would let you put your hand in it, but when you tried to take your hand back out, the "flaps" would keep closing around your wrist - and were lined with razor-sharp edging! Awwwwesoooooome. I'm totally finding a way to use that for a fanfic.
Saw III: I like Angus, yes I do, I like Angus, how 'bout you! But he couldn't save this extremely boring movie, too bad. There were a couple of awesome death traps again, but some scenes I simply COULD NOT watch. For one thing, I have really big problems with brain surgery scenes. They squick me something fierce. The little saw, the drills, I can't take any of it. Then throw in that death trap that broke bones and the very graphic showing of bones protruding through skin, and you had me wincing and looking away A LOT. I did like the little tricks Jigsaw played at the end, although it pissed me off that Amanda died. I like Shawnee Smith and I like her even better playing a serial killer. If she truly is gone, I'm very disappointed. (It didn't look like she could survive that, but you know horror movies and their magically surviving killers.) At least they explained how the original killer did that thing in the first movie where he made it look like he was dead by using drugs. That works a little better for me than the "I can slow down my breathing and heart rate by maaaaagic" trope.
